MEDITATION OF VINAYAKA

ஐந்து கரத்தனை யானை முகத்தனை

இந்தி னிளம்பிறை போலும் எயிற்றனை

நந்தி மகன்றனை ஞானக் கொழுந்தினைப்

புந்தியில் வைத்தடி போற்றுகின் றேனே.

aintu karattaṉai yāṉai mukattaṉai

inti ṉiḷampiṟai pōlum eyiṟṟaṉai

nanti makaṉṟaṉai ñāṉak koḻuntiṉaip

puntiyil vaittaṭi pōṟṟukiṉ ṟēṉē

Adoration to the Holy Feet enshrined in my Consciousness

The Feet of His whose arms are five,

Whose face has the Elephant`s majesty,

Whose single tusk rivals crescent moon,

Who is the darling child of Nandi

And who is wisdom pure and overflowing.

HUMANS ARE ONE FAMILY; GOD IS ONLY ONE FOR ALL

 

ஒன்றே குலமும் ஒருவனே தேவனும்

நன்றே நினைமின் நமனில்லை நாணாமே

சென்றே புகுங்கதி யில்லை நும் சித்தத்து

நின்றே நிலைபெற நீர்நினைந் துய்மினே .

oṉṟē kulamum oruvaṉē tēvaṉum

naṉṟē niṉaimiṉ namaṉillai nāṇāmē

ceṉṟē pukuṅkati yillai num cittattu

niṉṟē nilaipeṟa nīrniṉain tuymiṉē

One the family,One the God;

Thus intense hold,No more will death be;

None Other is Refuge,With confidence you can seek;

Think of Him and be redeemed,

In your thoughts, holding Him steadfast.

BLISS TO HUMANITY

நான்பெற்ற இன்பம் பெறுகஇவ் வையகம்

வான்பற்றி நின்ற மறைப்பொருள் சொல்லிடின்

ஊன்பற்றி நின்ற உணர்வுறும் மந்திரம்

தான்பற்றப் பற்றத் தலைப்படுந் தானே

nāṉpeṟṟa iṉpam peṟukaiv vaiyakam

vāṉpaṟṟi niṉṟa maṟaipporuḷ colliṭiṉ

ūṉpaṟṟi niṉṟa uṇarvuṟum mantiram

tāṉpaṟṟap paṟṟat talaippaṭun tāṉē

All the world may well attain the bliss I have received,

If the name of the Lord chanted by the great ones is repeated,

Within the heart will arise a thrilling unstruck sound

Which, when practised, will lead to realization.

LOVE IS GOD

அன்புசிவம் இரண் டென்பர் அறிவிலார்

அன்பே சிவமாவ தாரும் அறிகிலார்

அன்பே சிவமாவ தாரும் அறிந்தபின்

அன்பே சிவமாய் அமர்ந்திருந் தாரே  .

aṉpucivam iraṇ ṭeṉpar aṟivilār

aṉpē civamāva tārum aṟikilār

aṉpē civamāva tārum aṟintapiṉ

aṉpē civamāy amarntirun tārē

The ignorant prate that Love and Siva are two,

But none do know that Love alone is Siva

When men but know that Love and Siva are the same,

Love as Siva,they e`er remain.
