thuriya meethu sArAthu evarAlum thodara oNAthu: It is not accessible to the YOgis* who have reached the transcendantal state (thuriya); It cannot be pursued nor attained by anyone;

mA mAyai idai pukAthu AnAtha suka makA uthathee Aki ozhiyAthu: It cannot be penetrated even by powerful delusory powers; It is the inexhaustible sea of bliss that is immortal;

paruthi kAyil vAdAthu vadavai mULil vEkAthu: It cannot be burnt away even by the scorching sun; It cannot be singed (scorched) even by vadamukAgni, the fiery northerly inferno coming on the dooms day;

pavanam veesil veezhAthu saliyAthu paravai chUzhil AzhAthu: It can neither be pushed down even by the most turbulent storm nor can it be made inert and motionless; It cannot be drowned even if surrounded by the water of the sea;

padaikaL mOthil mAyAthu parama njAna veedu Ethu pukalvAyE: and It cannot be destroyed even when attacked by countless armies; – Will You kindly enlighten me as to what It is that has all these qualities and which is the paramount seat of true knowledge?

kanaka kAr muka AsAri: He is the Lord who arched the golden Mount MEru into a bow;

kakana sAri pUsAri veku sAri: He strolls along the sky of Knowledge; He resides in all the worlds; He has several unique gaits;

kayilai nAdakAsAri sakala sAri vAzhvAna: He is the Dance Master capable of performing myriad dances in Mount KailAsh; He is the Omnipresent Lord SivA; and You are His Treasure!

karuNai mEruvE thEvar perumALE.: Your compassion is huge like the Mount MEru! You are the Lord of the celestials, Oh Great One!
