வான்முகில் வழாது பெய்க
மலிவளம் சுரக்க மன்னன்
கோன்முறை அரசு செய்க
குறைவிலாது உயிர்கள் வாழ்க
நான்மறை அறங்கள் ஓங்க
நற்றவம் வேள்வி மல்க
மேன்மை கொள் சைவ நீதி
விளங்குக உலகமெல்லாம்.

vAn mukil vazhAthu peyka;
mali vaLam churakka; mannan
kOn muRai arasu seyka;
kuRaivu ilAthu uyirkaL vAzhka;
nAn maRai aRangkaL Ongka;
nattavam vEzhvi malka;
mEnmai koL Saiva neethi
viLangkuka ulakam ellAm.

Meaning:

May the rain fall in seasons without fail;
May the resources prosper;
May the King rule the country justly;
May all the living beings live without any hindrance; For this
May the dharma of four vEdas prosper;
May the spiritual austerities and fire rituals prosper well;
May the Supreme Saiva dharma reign all over the world.

மூவிரு முகங்கள் போற்றி; முகம்பொழி கருணை போற்றி;
ஏவருந் துதிக்க நின்ற விராறுதோள் போற்றி; காஞ்சி
மாவடி வைகுஞ் செவ்வேள் மலரடி போற்றி; அன்னான்
சேவலு மயிலும் போற்றி; திருக்கைவேல் போற்றி போற்றி.

Mooviru muhangkaL Potti; muham pozhi kariNai pOtti;
Evarum thuthikka ninRa eerARu thOL pOtti; KAnchi
mAvadi vaikum chevvEL malar adi pOtti; annAn
chEvalum mayilum pOtti; thiruk kai vEl pOtti; pOtti.

Meaning:

Glory to the twelve faces; Glory to the Grace coming from them;
Glory to the twelve arms glorified by celestials;
Glory to flowery red feet of Him resides at KAnchi under mango tree;
Glory to His rooster and peacock; Further glory to the spear in His hand.

கோலமா மஞ்ஞை தன்னில், குலவிய குமரன் தன்னைப்
பாலன் என்று இருந்தேன்; அந்நாள் பரிசிவை உணர்ந்திலேன் யான்;
மாலயன் தனக்கும், ஏனை வானவர் தமக்கும், யார்க்கும்
மூல காரணமாய் நின்ற மூர்த்தி, இம் மூர்த்தி அன்றோ!

kOlamA manjnjai thannil kulaviya kumaran thannai
pAlan enRiru irunthEn; annAL parisu ivai uNarnthilEn yAn;
mAlayan thanakkum, Enai vAnavar thamakkum yArkkum
moola kAraNamAy ninRa moorthi, im moorthi anRO!

Meaning:

The Lad who playfully mounting on the beautiful peacock
I didn’t realize His true nature and ignored Him merely a child;
I didn’t even realize that it was Him
Who granted me all these boons before ( as Lord Shiva)
He stands alone as the cause of the all causes;
Including Brahma, VishNu, celestials and all others
As the Lord of the lords!

ஆறிரு தடந்தோள் வாழ்க; அறுமுகம் வாழ்க; வெற்பைக்
கூறுசெய் தனிவேல் வாழ்க; குக்குடம் வாழ்க; செவ்வேள்
ஏறிய மஞ்சை வாழ்க; யானை தன் அணங்கு வாழ்க
மாறிலா வள்ளி வாழ்க; வாழ்க சீர் அடியார் எல்லாம்.

AaRiru thadam thOL vAzhka; aRumugam vAzhka; vetpaik
kooRu sey thani vEl vAzhka; kukkudam vAzhka; chevEL
ERiya manjnjai vAzhka; yAnai than aNangu vAzhka;
mARilA vaLLi vAzhka; vAzhka seer adiyAr ellAm.

Meaning:

Glory to the great twelve arms; Glory to the six faces;
Glory to the spear that pierced the krouncha mountain;
Glory to the rooster in the flag; Glory to the peacock He mounts on;
Glory to His consort vaLLi; Glory to all of His Great devotees!
